CYC Registration Open

Catholic Youth Camp is going to be exciting this year! Campers will see new cabins, a renovated Dingman Lodge and increased number of staff for enhanced safety precautions. We’re planning for the most amazing summer ever! Camp is open to 3rd-12th graders. For more information and to register, please go to stmcenter.com. Our Parish will contribute $100 of the fee to CYC for each child of our Parish who attends. Please notify Barb in the office when you have registered your child.

Attention 8th-11th Grade Teens!

The biannual National Catholic Youth Conference is this November in Indianapolis! NCYC has been the highlight of several of our High Schoolers faith development and we feel blessed that this conference will be held. With the uncertainties of Covid and several guidelines in place for large gatherings, the NCYC planning committee has decided to offer the pilgrimage at a limited attendance.

In order for our SMHC youth to attend we need to know ASAP if your child would be interested in going to or learning more about NCYC. We will have a parent meeting for NCYC April 11 after 10:00am Mass. This meeting will end by 11:15am at the latest. Youth participants are welcome to attend but do not need to be there. We will provide all the details we have at the meeting and will be asking for a monetary deposit. If the deposit will be too much of a financial burden with this short notice, please talk with us at the meeting.  Please contact Melissa or Andrea for more information and details.

Please join us in saying the prayer below. We ask that you pray this at least once a day for the unity and healing for all during this tumultuous time.  Please let us know if their is any way we can assist you!  God Bless!

Heavenly Father,

we praise you for sending your Son

to be one of us and to save us.

Look upon your people with mercy,

for we are divided in so many ways,

and give us the Spirit of Jesus to make us one in love.

We ask this gift, loving Father,

through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
