ST. JOSEPH'S EMERGENCY FAMILY SHELTER

The St. Joseph Emergency Family Shelter is an emergency haven, in Des Moines, Iowa for local families who are homeless. The Shelter is the only one in the Metro area to provide housing for entire families in need. Members of our Parish give of their talents by preparing and serving a meal to the families. St. Mary-Holy Cross Parish assists the Shelter on the second (2nd) Sunday of each month.
