Our Gifts and Needs – What are they? Where are they?
What and where are the gifts and needs we have here in St. Mary-Holy Cross Parish, gifts that can help us be ever more faithful friends of Jesus, and the needs of others both near and far that Jesus would have us care for? Asking and answering these questions is the work of our Parish Pastoral Council. Might you be interested in helping ask and answer them? Or, do you have your own questions and curiosity about just what the Pastoral Council and its important work are within the Parish? If so, please plan to listen attentively to my short announcement about the Council at Mass the weekend of September 9-10, and attend a longer session at 11:30AM on Sunday, September 17. Or, please contact me personally, or any of our current Council members, with your questions and expression of interest (all our names and contact information are listed in the Bulletin).
The St. Mary–Holy Cross Pastoral Council represents the diverse communities within our Parish. Through prayer, reflection, and discussion we share in the pastoral leadership of the Parish by identifying and assessing its gifts and needs. The Council interacts with fellow parishioners, empowering their active participation in the discipleship of Jesus Christ.
Next meeting date to be announced.
