Gift Bearers “It is praiseworthy for the bread and wine to be presented by the faithful.” (General Instruction of the Roman Missal). As mentioned a few weeks ago in What Are We Doing And Why?, our present practice is to have the ushers bring the gifts forward; we would like to begin the practice of having other parishioners, families or individuals, bring the gifts forward at Mass. If you would like to volunteer, a sign up is in the vestibule of St. Mary’s and on the table at Holy Cross for each weekend in November. We ask that there be at least two gift bearers for each Mass.
