New members to the parish are asked to call the parish office to register their children for Religious Education classes.

   --Class Sunday:  February 12 & 19.  No class on Feb. 26

   --Class Wednesday:  February 8, 15 & 29.  No class on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22

Mark your Calendars: February 12th!

 All the grades in Religious Education are studying about the Mass right now. During the next few weeks, 4th and 5th graders will be trained as Altar servers, and 6th and 7th graders will be trained as lectors. On February 12th at the 10:00 Mass, the RE kids will be doing the various ministries. Those who are not signed up for a ministry are invited to join in the choir for the opening and closing songs.

The Diocese of Des Moines released a Code of Conduct on July 31, 2003 that applies to all those who work for the diocese or a parish in the diocese, and all those volunteering for the diocese or a parish within the diocese. It also applies to seminarians and the schools.



Chapel Ministry to Des Moines Area Seniors:  Mill-Pond Retirement Community of Ankeny will rebroadcast its Chapel Services on Mediacom's Public Access Channel 15.  “Mill-Pond Chapel" airs Tuesdays and Thursdays each week at 2:30 p.m. Chaplain Rick Miller who preaches has been serving Mill-Pond for five years.
